LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD IN HAWAII
So from the very beginning every person has a chance. I want your son or daughter to have the same chance as my son or daughter. I want our neighbor to have the same chance as our son or daughter. I want no one to have the upper hand over another. It the government’s duty to ensure this anytime ...

SUBPRIME LOANS – FORECLOSURES - LOWER THE COST OF LIVING IN HAWAII!!!

That is what I am proposing. That is what I will introduce. People are hurting over these sub prime-foreclosures. People are loosing their homes. Poor people and families on Section 8 are losing their homes and are put in the streets.

The help needs to come from Washington and the Hawaii State Legislature. Because I am a democrat and the majority party in Hawaii are democrats they will listen to me when I introduce bills. They will help me help my district.

As I have stated before, we need to stop the taxes on food, medicine and medical supplies. Including, but not limited to, crutches, walkers casts, bandages, even a box of Band-Aids!!! Why should someone hurt or sick have to pay taxes on medical supplies? That is a sure way to make the sick, sicker!!!

We need to stop these stupid taxes. Once and for all. Singles and families feel as though they have been ripped-off at gunpoint when they go to fill up their family car or go to the grocery store to by food.

One of the fastest ways to lower the food bill or medicine is to cut out the taxes. Many states have cut out the food and medicine tax and they are still in business.

In fact, some states do not have a sales tax or general excise tax and they get alone just fine. Why must Hawaii be different? While I am at it, what about a “living wage”? I will introduce that too. If someone is working why must they live in the streets, because rent is too high or salaries are too low? That person needs to increase their income by getting a “living wage”!!!

People are already working more than one full-time job in Hawaii. Many, many, times we see that the minimum wage workers are not able to make enough to support self, let along a family. Hawaii’s people can and should be doing better.

IT'S THE ECONOMY STUPID - PEOPLE ARE WALKING AROUND SHOPPING FOR GROCERIES FOR AN HOUR!!!
Aloha, It has been called to my attention that Hawaii's people, incuding my personal friends, are grocery shopping for longer periods of times trying to figure out what they can afford and what they need to do without. In some cases, shopping for hours. It is now more, "what can we afford", ...
